As a family physician who has worked in many different settings including the emergency room and Hospital Medicine, I am used to taking care of patients of all ages with all types of conditions. In my training and early practice, I did obstetrics and have always been interested in women's health. I have experience and interest in minor procedures such as biopsies, excisions, treatment of abscesses, and suturing. I like to listen carefully to patients to find out what they are looking for in their health care and where they are coming from. With this in mind, I like to make recommendations that fit with the patient's goals and to educate them so that they can decide what is best for them
