Chinh Mai, MD

Chinh Van Mai, MD, practices internal medicine. Dr. Mai earned his medical degree from Medical and Pharmaceutical University. Dr. Mai completed his internship as well as his residency at Meharry Medical College in Tennessee. Dr. Mai believes the best way to treat illness is to prevent it. He focuses on preventive care and screening to keep his patients healthy. He strives to help individuals with diabetes, congestive heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He believes the proper guidance and management of these conditions can reduce and eliminate serious consequences in the future. Dr. Mai focuses on working directly with patients to educate and encourage them to take charge of their health, both physically and mentally. Dr. Mai is happily married to Dr. Thao Vo, a pediatrician. They work together in the same office. When they're not caring for their patients, they enjoy quality time with their children. Dr. Mai loves having an active lifestyle and goes running every morning and enjoys playing soccer. Dr. Mai speaks fluent Vietnamese.
