Juan Alas-Pocasangre, MD, practices family medicine. Dr. Alas-Pocasangre earned his medical degree from the University of El Salvador Faculty of Medicine. He completed his internship at Walnut Creek Medical Center and his residency at San Francisco General Hospital. Dr. Alas-Pocasangre has known he wanted to be a doctor since childhood. He believes strongly in patient education and preventive care. Patients say that Dr. Alas-Pocasangre is compassionate and thorough, always making sure each patient receives the right care. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Alas-Pocasangre enjoys spending time with his family. In addition to English, Dr. Alas-Pocasangre speaks fluent Spanish.
