Reza Sharafi, MD

Reza Sharafi, MD, is board certified in internal medicine with more than 20 years of experience. Dr. Sharafi earned his medical degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science, Faculty of Medicine in Iran. He completed his internship at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in New York and his residency at New York University's Downtown Hospital. Dr. Sharafi became a doctor because of his passion for helping patients improve their quality of life. As an internist, he diagnoses and treats a wide variety of medical conditions. Dr. Sharafi encourages his patients to practice preventive healthcare by watching their diet, exercising regularly and reducing stress. In his spare time, he enjoys photography and listening to classical music. In addition to English, Dr. Sharafi speaks fluent Farsi.
