Hitesh Patel, MD, practices family medicine with more than 30 years of experience. Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from the University of Wales, College of Medicine in the UK. He completed his internship and residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. Patients say they appreciate Dr. Patel's willingness to address their questions and concerns, even if it takes extra time. He believes strongly in educating his patients about their health conditions and ways they can prevent illness in the future. Dr. Patel counsels his patients on healthy lifestyle habits such as nutritious eating, exercising regularly and reducing stress. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and traveling. In addition to English, Dr. Patel speaks fluent Hindi and basic Spanish.
