Yulsi Fernandez Montero, MD, is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Fernandez Montero earned her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine of the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed her internship and residency at Santa Monica UCLA Orthopedic Hospital in California. Dr. Fernandez Montero has always been passionate about taking care of others. Growing up, one of her goals was to enter a field where she could positively impact the health of families and entire communities. Dr. Fernandez Montero firmly believes in empowering patients through education and shared decision-making. She works towards making sure each patient sees her as a partner in their health and wellness. When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Fernandez Montero enjoys running and spending quality time with her partner and their adorable puppies. In addition to English, Dr. Fernandez Montero speaks fluent Spanish.
