Biography

Shing Cheng, MD, practices internal medicine. Dr. Cheng earned his medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed both his internship and residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York. Dr. Cheng strives to form long-lasting and rewarding relationships with his patients that are built on trust and understanding. He believes in involving and educating his patients so that there is a sense of shared responsibility in the decision-making needed to improve their wellness. Dr. Cheng always found the science of medicine fascinating. He loves applying it to create positive changes for and with his patients. When he's not caring for his patients, Dr. Cheng enjoys hiking and basketball. The NBA playoffs are his favorite thing to watch. He also loves the experience of sharing delicious meals with friends and learning more about human happiness. In addition to English, Dr. Cheng speaks Cantonese and Chinese.
